MINI All4 Racing Wins In Portugal

MINI All4 Racing Wins Baja Portalegre 500

The final race of the 2016 FIA Cross Country World Cup was the Baja Portalegre 500 and MINI All4 Racing proudly stood on the top step of the podium as driver Ricardo Porém took home a record third consecutive win.

“I’m absolutely speechless and happy to win third time in a row the Baja Portalegre. Everybody did a great job. I’m looking forward to have a big party with all of them.” said Porém after the win with co-driver Filipe Palmeiro.

In this last race of the season, the X-Raid All4 Team did some unique practice for January’s grueling Dakar Rally. Crew members spent the Portugal event working in different roles than their norm. Drivers operated as managers and mechanics, and Team Manager Sven Quandt went to work as the physiotherapist and photographer for the week. All to be a little more ready for the premiere Dakar rally just a couple of short months away.
