BMW Group Sales Continue Growth – MINI up 7.3%

BMW Group Sales - October 2016

2016 continues its positive results for BMW Group sales as monthly reporting for October shows continued growth worldwide. The first ten months of the year bring a company wide 5.8% increase from 2015.

MINI Sales

Up 8.9% – MINI sales were driven by the new Clubman and Convertible with total of 28,746 vehicle sold worldwide for October. Ten month totals equal a 7.3% increase with 292,823 delivered so far in 2016.

i and iPerformance models hit a milestone in October with electric BMW sales reaching 100,000 units. “Our sustained efforts in the field of electro-mobility are paying off,” commented Dr Ian Robertson. The MINI brand is scheduled to release its first full market plug-in hybrid late in 2017 to support BMW Group sales in its continued pivot toward a more sustainable market.
