Another MINI Cooper Police Vehicle Goes To Work

The Livingston (TX) Police Department is the latest law enforcement agency to add a MINI to its fleet. A 2014 MINI Cooper Clubman was recently seized and repurposed as a support vehicle for the department. The MINI Cooper police vehicle will be used for special events and community relations.

We have to admit, we are slightly disappointed that they refer to “Cooper” as cute. We do remain hopeful that officers assigned to it will remember to wave to other MINI drivers.

Many agencies around the world have put various MINIs on patrol as support vehicles, and even on patrol. In urban areas; the smaller vehicle size offers economy and convenience. They also prove to be unique conversation starters when officers are on community outreach assignments.
