NBC Commits To The Italian Job Series

Italian Job Series to copy films?

This could be amazing… it could be horrible… at this point it may be a little too early to know if we’ll see a full production run, but according to deadline.com an industry resource for television and Hollywood insiders, NBC has committed to a script for a new drama Italian Job series based on The Italian Job film from 1969 and its remake in 2003.

The Italian Job television drama series, written and produced by Rob Weiss (HBO’s Entourage, Ballers) and Benjamin Brand (IFC’s Bollywood Hero), will feature the same producer as the 2003 film remake, Donald De Line. Unconfirmed, but possible, is wether or not a MINI Cooper, or any particular vehicle will be featured in the series, but even without, for the fan of action packed, heist stories, this could be an exciting piece of television to catch.

We’ll watch this topic for more information as it becomes available. Meanwhile catch a couple of our favorite scenes from The Italian Job on page 2.
