Start ‘Em Young… MINIs Help Hospitalized Kids Recover

Thanks to a donation by MINI of San Antonio (Principal Auto), young patients at Methodist Children’s Hospital in San Antonio have some new toys to speed up the healing process. Four ride-on, miniature MINI Cooper’s give kids a fun activity to help them forget their surroundings.

“It gives them a chance to get up and help to recover quicker from the surgery,” said Methodist Children’s Hospital CEO Robert Lenza. “I think anytime you can get a child to get outside of their illness or get outside of the fact they’re here in the hospital, it’s going to be good for them.”

“It makes us feel excited and really happy that we can do something for them to make them feel better.” explained Abigail Campmann the CEO of Principal Auto.
