If you are like us, you don’t want to hear about another MINI accident, or fire, but that’s the news, and hopefully we are getting these incidents out of our system before the peak of the summer club events and rallies begin.

In this sad episode; a 2006 Hardtop driven by Shane Buffington in Southern Indiana was impacted by one of about 20 bales of hay that fell off a passing vehicle. The hay got wedged under the front of the MINI, where it quickly caught fire.

We are unsure if the vehicle transporting the hay was cited, but we sure hope the take responsibility for their unsecured load.
