Stolen MINI Recovered By Business Owner

Screen Shot 2016-06-22 at 8.11.29 PMAmongst what some believe was a questionable technique, Modified by KC’s (Kansas City, MO) owner Ryan Charlton helped recover a stolen MINI Cooper S that he had recognized from social media posts looking for the car.

Charlton, was approached by the MINI’s driver at his shop, looking to sell the seats from inside the car. At first he turned the man away, but then he recalled seeing a post looking for a red MINI Cooper that was lowered and had aftermarket wheels. Charlton called the potential thief back into his shop where he locked the doors, and grabbed his hand gun while awaiting police.

While some question the legality of Charlton’s actions, others think the shop owner is a hero for helping to recover a stolen MINI. Tell us what you think below, and then head over to page two to see the full story and video by KSHB 41.
