Ponce City Market shared the same Instagram photo. Obviously as a shopping, and cultural center, they’d like to attract visitors to their space. One of their followers asked how long the publicly customized MINIs would be on site, and MA! replied that they would be available until July 8.
July 8th just happens to be the night before MINI Takes The States begins. Coincidence? Could Ponce City Market be location of a yet unannounced kickoff party? In 2014, the party was held at MINI Of San Francisco, a dealership with quite a bit of room for gatherers, but Ponce City Market is made for holding events.
Now of course, what we do know is that the MTTS website only lists early registration for July 8. That, is scheduled to happen at the host hotel-Intercontinental Bulkhead Atlanta-20 minutes away from Ponce City, but early registration ends at 7PM. Still leaving plenty of party time that evening.
From beer tastings, and mini golf tournaments, to their very own concert series, Ponce City Market might just be the perfect location for hoards of MINIacs to gather for pre-rally festivities. A place where art, food, and music all come together in the heart of Atlanta.
Of course, these are all just guesses based on speculation and fueled by anticipation. What we do know, is that we can’t wait to see what the final product looks like on what will absolutely be a one-of-a-kind MINIs.
I for one, plan on getting to Atlanta a little bit early to catch a glimpse of these MINIs just in case they are not associated with the MINI Takes The States adventure.
