Countryman… Clubman… Everyone Tests At the Nurburgring


Every auto enthusiast knows that when a manufacturer is ready to put its newest model through its paces, the Nurburgring is the place to go. The upcoming 2017 MINI Countryman has been spotted there on a few occasions recently. This time it was making laps along with the already available MINI Clubman.

Suspected MINI JCW Clubman at the NurburgringBoth MINIs, especially the Clubman whose only disguised body panels are on the front aero kit, and with a very John Cooper Works looking badge on the rear right door are potentially future John Cooper Works variants, but other than that, they both look very similar to earlier examples we’ve seen.

In the past, there has been at least one sighting of the upcoming hybrid Countryman,  utwithout more information, we couldn’t confirm if one or both camouflaged test cars in the following video are running any kind of alternative power plant.
