MINI Car Sharing Service Success

ReachNow Car SharingSince its launch just one month ago in Seattle, WA, more than 13,000 people have signed up to borrow BMW’s and MINI’s from the short-term “rental” service provided by ReachNow, a company created by BMW. “The rapid adoption of ReachNow in Seattle is proof-positive of the demand for a premium car sharing alternative that provides an experience as convenient as owning a car,” noted Marcus Krieg, Head of CarSharing Business Unit, BMW Group.

The service currently has 370 vehicles on the road, including MINI Hardtops, which are “checked out” using ReachNow’s smartphone app. ReachNow plans to expand to cities outside the Seattle area later in 2016.
