Trooper Injured Chasing MINI In New Jersey

The_Italian_Job_Car_Chase_Mini_CoopersAll sorts of crazy driving in MINI’s these days…

According to NJ.com two New Jersey State Police had a bit of an incident after crashing while chasing a MINI on I-80 and then through the streets of Paterson, NJ. The MINI had originally been stopped for a traffic violation, but took off running as the trooper approached.

The chase was called off for safety reasons, but the two officers collided as they were arriving to help. The hurt officer was treated for a minor back injury.

We don’t have details on the year and model of the MINI, so for argument’s sake, we’re gonna say it was actually a Classic Mini, and the scene looked something like the one in the GIF.
