Qatar Success For MINI All4 Racing

P90216914-lowResRound 3 of the FIA Cross Country World Cup is complete, and the three MINI entries faired excellently over the tough and challenge sand and stone stages of the Qatar desert. The #202 and #203 MINIs finished 2nd and 3rd on the podium, while the Portuguese X-raid team of Ricard and Manuel Porém finished a respectable 7th in the #205.
P90216907-lowResFinishing in second overall was Yazeed Al Rajhi (KSA) and co-driver Timo Gottschalk (GER). Speaking after the final stage, Al Rajhi said: “We are happy with our achievements. The rally was extremely exhausting for drivers and co-drivers. The stages were extremely challenging for the drivers and the navigators had to be fully focused and perfectly prepared throughout the event. We found a good speed right from the start and were able to win the final stage, thus demonstrating what is possible.”
