With permission from the technical directors at IMSA, the three car, Brownsburg, IN team will now be running John Cooper Works upgraded brake calipers instead of the standard Cooper S package. This should provide better stopping power to all three Hardtops, but more importantly, the team hopes to see better life from their brakes. After the last race at Sebring where Mark Pombo in the #37 lost his brakes during the final lap of the race, the team is hopeful they won’t see problems like that again.

13062063_1536653956637876_5086053818624559043_nThe team will once again be bringing its Chili Red hot lap car to the track where a few lucky fans, and future owners will get a chance take some high-speed laps through the famous corkscrew with team owner Luis Perocarpi. With some assistance from Continental Tire, the hot lap car should be better outfitted to hang on in the corners as Perocarpi pushes the street car to its limits.
